    • High school education completed

    • 18 years or older

    • Proof of allowance to work in the U.S.

    • No criminal record convictions or must have criminal record clearance

    • Healthy physical exam proving the ability to lift

    • Training before and after hire.

    • CPR certification within the last two years

    • Negative TB test

  • Yes. We will still consider an applicant without prior experience, considering other areas of your application are in good standing. New employees will undergo training as per Title 22 regulations before hire, after hire, and continuously throughout employment.

  • Absolutely. We have part time scheduling available for current students. We highly encourage those who are on an educational path to be health professionals to work with us and acquire real experience in the field. If plausible, senior staff at AECN will be more than happy to write referrals for your future endeavors in University or Certificate Programs. All basic requirements must still be met.

  • In some cases, yes. Live-in options depend on the community and it’s current staff. In most cases, live-in caregivers are full time employees with previous caregiving experience and upstanding references.
